Fernando Teixeira

Fernando Teixeira holds a PhD in Economics from Fluminense Federal University (UFF, Brazil) and has been a professor at leading Brazilian institutions, including the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), and the National School of Public Administration (ENAP). He has also served as a project co-lead and fellow at SOAS University of London and University College London (UCL), and as a consultant for international cooperation agencies and multilateral organizations such as GIZ and UNDP. In the nonprofit sector, Fernando has led and coordinated multi-stakeholder initiatives addressing the economic, social, environmental, and climate dimensions of development, with a strong focus on advancing a just low-carbon transition. He currently serves as Director of Strategy and Institutional Relations at the Forum of Brazilian Sovereign Wealth Funds (FFSB), Director of Public Policy at the Brazilian Centre for Sustainable Finance (CeFiS), and at the Brazilian Network for the Integration of Peoples (Rebrip).
