Former ISA lead Will Nelligan notes: “In these early days of the ISA market, we need to bridge the gap between the cost of capital that is sensible from a social perspective and the return profile that is sustainable from a commercial perspective … One promising approach is a version of structured finance, using concessionary capital from foundations or endowments to provide credit enhancement for market-rate investors.” Read the article here.
