JFI’s Macro Initiative

The Jain Family Institute announced today that Claudia Sahm will be stepping back from her role as Director of Macroeconomic Research in order to focus on the live conversations around current economic policy and macroeconomic conditions. She will continue providing consulting on critical technical and research matters.
Since 2021, Sahm has led the development of JFI’s macroeconomic research initiative, which works to formulate policy recommendations supporting broad-based and inclusive employment and an economy that works for everyone. JFI is grateful for her expertise and vision in laying the foundation for its future macroeconomic work.
