David Gray Grant

David Gray Grant is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Florida and was a Senior Research Fellow in Digital Ethics and Governance at the Jain Family Institute. His research focuses on concerns about fairness and transparency that arise when institutions use artificial intelligence to make high-stakes decisions about how to treat particular individuals. He also teaches courses in data ethics and the philosophy of artificial intelligence. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from MIT.
