Molly Dektar
Director
Molly Dektar is the Director of Editorial and Communications, overseeing JFI’s content, including the weekly research digest, PW Sources, JFI’s web publication, Phenomenal World, and other platforms, materials, and events that bring the work of JFI out into the broader world. A part of JFI since 2015, Molly worked in research and operations before building the communications strategy for the Institute and its initiatives. The editorial team works across all JFI projects, and functions as JFI’s radar, tracking emerging ideas in the social sciences and conducting research on potential areas of inquiry.
A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University, Molly’s first novel, The Ash Family, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2019.
