Income guarantee programs have attracted increasing attention from academics, policy makers and the general public. The Covid-19 pandemic accentuated the interest in the topic, in view of the sudden need to ensure the livelihood of millions of people, most of whom were not the typical target audience for income transfer programs.
The Universal Basic Income Workshop: Experiments, Policies, and Strategies will be a space for dialogue between researchers from around the world on this issue.
