Adriel Araujo
Fellow
Adriel Araujo is a Ph.D. student from Fluminense Federal University (Brazil) in a partnership with Rey Juan Carlos University (Spain), which investigates artificial intelligence for diagnosing and monitoring breast cancer. He joined JFI in 2022 as a Fellow in the Social Wealth Portfolio.
Prior to JFI, Adriel was a Research Assistant at Active Documentation and Intelligent Design Lab (ADDLabs, in Portuguese). In addition to working in the biomedical field, Adriel also has a background in projects devoted to the oil and gas industry, environment, and digital healthcare. His professional interests include artificial and collective intelligence, human-computer interaction, data science, and computer vision.
